Warhammer Quest Card Game: It’s multiplayer, but you can always play solo. Rules can be a little finiky to get into, but watch a couple of Youtube videos and you’re golden.
D&D Wrath of Ashardalon, D&D Castleravenloft, are two excellent board games both with solo play.
Descent 2nd Edition: Fantastic game, now has an iOS APP that plays at the DM and reads the campaign to you.
Witcher the Boardgame: Not solo player, but still an excellent game with a few friends.
If you know of, or heard or the old school Heroquest, there’s a decent updated game based around that called Dungeon Saga, if you buy that with the separate add on Adventurers Companion (they’re two separate boxes) you can play Dungeon Saga solo.

Hit me up if you need more, or want more info. I’ve been playing these things for a lot longer than I’ve been playing on C64.
