    Hi guys,

Great podcast. Its good to see so much love for Yakuza. I strongly, strongly recommend, however, that you check out Shenmue on the Dreamcast, the game on which Yakuza’s style and engine is based. Yakuza essentially recycles many of the elements found in Shenmue, from the living, breathing open world, to the arcades (which in Shenmue were packed with classic Yu Suzuki arcade games), to the streets of rage-cum-Virtual fighter combat. It really is amazing to think just how similar Yakuza 3 and Shenmue are, despite there being a ten-year gap between their release dates.
