Vault dwellers, it’s been seven long years since the series’ last entry, but Fallout 4 is almost finally here to cure your post-apocalyptic blues. Release day is fast approaching, with businesses everywhere preparing themselves for a record number of absences due to ‘illness’, and given the launch of this brand spanking new gameplay trailer straight from series developers Bethesda, who can blame ‘em?
Despite looking more apocalyptic than The Four Horseman riding nukes, the trailer looks quite brilliant, showing off hubs, cities and plenty of NPC interactions. Criticisms have been levelled at the quality of those character models given Fallout 4’s long gestation but given the lush world on show, and the hundreds of hours of lootin’, shootin’ and moochin’ that will surely be on offer, that seems a mild concern. PS4, Xbox One and PC owners can start their own nomadic quest through the wastes of Boston on Monday 10th November.
