Fallout 4 S.P.E.C.I.A.L. video series

October 22nd, 2015 by

pipboyWe’re into the home stretch and it’s less than a month until the long-awaiting Fallout 4 emerges from the vault it’s been hiding in. As the hype train continues to build, Bethesda have released a series of videos detailing the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attribute system.

A Wasteland Wanderer is going to need to take as many supplies as possible. The more you want to carry, the higher you’ll need your Strength to be.

Combat in Fallout makes use of the VATS system. To make sure you’re targeting the right area of your opponent, make sure you spec out with Perception.

The post-nuclear world is a nasty place, filled with potential health risk. To ensure survival in the Wasteland, you may want to boost your Endurance.

In this bartering economy you’re going to need a spot of Charisma to get yourself the best possible price on your trades. It’ll also help to get some companions along the way. After all, you don’t want to be on your own out there.

Brute strength is only going to get you so far. Sometimes you’re going to need brains over brawn, and in these cases you’re going to need some Intelligence.

Fancy playing a bit more stealthily? Reload quicker? Hit more targets? You’re going want some Agility.

Sometimes though, despite everything else, you just need a little bit of Luck. Spec on on this to boost your chances to land a critical shot or find better loot.

Fallout 4 is released on 10th November 2015 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
