Microsoft and The Coalition have just announced that if you purchase and play Gears Of War: Ultimate Collection before 31st December 2015, you’re given backwards compatible Xbox 360 versions of Gears 2, 3 and Judgement, completely free of charge.
Alternatively, if you’re not picking up the remaster but still have the disc versions of the gears franchise, these are being added to the backwards compatibility list this autumn.
This is another incentive for people to pick up the lusciously reworked version of the original Gears Of War, on top of the already extremely tempting beta access to the much-desired next instalment of the Gears series, Gears Of War 4.
As someone who was a little disappointed that the Gears remaster wasn’t a complete collection, this softens the blow a little. Does it make you more inclined to jump on this remaster, or were you on board anyway?
