Standby…Connection Successful…Commencing Hacking in 5,4,3….

May 26th, 2014 by

watch 001We’re now on the last day before Watch_Dogs is officially released and, despite the 2 year wait from the initial reveal, the title is still surrounded by a great deal of hype. There’s also a huge amount of curiosity at what we’ll have in store for us on the 27th, in part due to a strict review embargo which only lifts on day of the release.

In order to whet your appetite for tomorrow I’ve rounded up the trailers released over the last 7 days. First off we have the 101 Trailer, a 9 minute video designed to give you a better overview of what we’ll have in store, covering topics such as the hacking mechanics, the characters you’ll meet, the online aspect, and much more.

Next up there’s a street prank by Ubisoft where the hacking from Watch_Dogs invades real life. What would you do if you could control everything around you with only your smartphone?

Lastly, we have the Launch Trailer, a movie-esque trailer showing brief shots of the game in action and some cutscenes.

On final thing. As we’ve done with other high profile releases, Midlife Gamer will be putting together a team┬áto cover our thoughts on Watch_Dogs. As such,we’ll need a little bit of time to fully appreciate the intricacies of the game. Standby for the Watch_Dogs Roundtable Review.
