Rocksmith – More Tracks Announced

Ubisoft have today added more tracks to the available songs in Rocksmith 2014 as well as an additional six songs for purchasers of the guitar bundle from Amazon.

The Deftones, Green Day, Def Leppard and Queen are among the artists who join Aerosmith, The Arctic Monkeys, Bob Dylan, Iron Maiden, R.E.M., The Smashing Pumpkins and many more on the Rocksmith 2014  track list.

 The guitar bundle, which as per last year, will contain the game, the Real Tone cable and an Epiphone Les Paul Junior guitar. However, for those who purchase the bundle via Amazon UK will also recieve a free DLC pack containing the following six songs.

  • Chicago – 25 Or 6 To 4
  • Albert King – The Sky Is Crying
  • The Hives – Hate To Say I Told You So
  • The Lumineers – Ho Hey
  • Them Crooked Vultures  - Mind Eraser, No Chaser
  • Queens Of The Stone Age –  My God Is The Sun

The new songs – included in all versions of the game -  announced today are:

  • Def Leppard – Pour Some Sugar On Me
  • Deftones – My Own Summer
  • Gold Motel – Brand New Kind Of Blue
  • Green Day – X-Kid
  • Minus The Bear – Cold Company
  • Queen – We Are The Champions
  • Ratt – Round And Round
  • Rush – The Spirit Of Radio
  • Tak Matsumoto – GO FURTHER
  • Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers – Mary Jane’s Last Dance

Rocksmith is currently being developed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC for release October 2013.

  1. hmmm. Not many songs I know here to be honest, but I guess that give me a chance to find that gem again like in GH. Looking forward to this new release/update, and thank goodness you can port your old tracks over.
