Silly Season 2012 Schedule

September 25th, 2012 by

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, children of all ages, it’s once again that time of the year when everyone seem to release games. Yep it’s the return of the Gaming Silly Season.

I was quite happily sitting, blissfully thinking that seeing as we have no Dead Island, no Dark Souls, no Skyrim, no Gears 3 and no Saint’s Row to battle for our pennies this year that it can’t be as bad, and then I actually looked, not skim over like I have been for the last few months, but actually look at what is being released

is it just me being blind, or have you missed assassins creed 3 off the list but put a picture of it?

I think Si enjoys punishing himself writing an article like this

Yep only got AC 3 down on vita :). Quite a dull line up for me, only 4 games I’m really interested in.
Quite lucky considering I have no money :).

  5. avatar BlueWolf says:

There’s still the odd thing missing, and several that don’t have a firm release date to add to that, but all the big hitters are pretty much covered.

Although if you think that’s bad take a look at between the end of Jan and March 2013, that truly is silly seaon

  6. avatar SiStevens says:

Congratulations Linton. You have found the deliberate mistake. godammit.

Yes I forgot Assassins Creed 3. It’s released the day after teh Vita version so I think my mind probably thought I had it on their already.

As I said at the top, this is just the CONFIRMED date schedule. There are at least another dozen games due to be released at some point this year without a confirmed date. Personally I think we can safely bet on these being December’s releases as that looks a little sparse in comparison.

To be honest I stopped during December because quite frankly it was hurting just that little bit too much knowing what I can’t buy.

After looking again at that list, I think the pain has affected my ability to spell words and use the correctversions in my last comment so I am going to curl into the fetal position and rock gently back and forth under my desk.

  8. avatar JayceStokes says:

Anyone mind if i just sit here and cry?

  9. avatar D5120 says:

Is it ok if I sit next to you and cry ?
