No news on the exact content of the demo, but the full release promises to give racers a new experience as they boost, smash and trick through a destructive tour to the ‘Showdown’ finals.
In excess of 50 different events from all over the globe, featuring racing environments in London, Miami, Tokyo and San Fransisco, racers must work their way to the becoming a superstar by beating down rivals and wowing the crowd.
Game modes include Demolition Derby (what a cracking game that was back on the PSOne!), regular Racing and the stunt based Hooligan mode. Racing through rain, sun, snow at various times of day, accompanied by pyrotechnics and laser displays, should go to make this an exhilarating experience.
DiRT Showdown will be Codemasters’ most connected game ever — split-screen multiplayer, eight-player online racing, on and off-line quick-fire party games and YouTube integration all come as standard
The full release will hit stores in mainland Europe on 24th May, the UK on the 25th May and in North America on 29th May.
