Three DLC Packs Announced for Battlefield 3

March 7th, 2012 by

EA and DICE have revealed details of three expansion packs for Battlefield 3, Close Quarters, Armored Kill and End Game, with the first arriving in June.

Battlefield 3: Close Quarters will bring with it new assignments, weapons and dog tags all focused on, unsurprisingly close quarters and combat.

That will be followed up by Battlefield 3: Armored Kill which will focus on the celebrated vehicle combat that the Battlefield series is well known for, with new ATVs, tanks, mobile artillery and more joining the battlefield. DICE are also promising new large-scale maps to take advantage of these new additions, including “the biggest map in Battlefield history”.

Finally, Battlefield 3: End Game will arrive in the winter, although DICE are keeping details on what this DLC contains close to their chests.

This could be just what BF3 needs to inject some momentum into the game.Havn’t played it in a loong time. Hope they manage to hit a good price point for this..and that it doesn’t clash with Trials Evolution release!
