Podcast Episode 157 – Budgie Smugglers

October 10th, 2011 by

Good things come in small packages…that bulge!

What have we been playing?

Matt has a quiet gaming week, but manages to squeeze in some time with Gears of War 3 & Halo Reach multiplayer.

Equally light on playtime Daren succumbs to the lure of Dark Souls, and goes a bit DLC crazy with Train Simulator 2012.

The passing of Steve Jobs, iPhone 4S announcement details, Infinity Blade 2 announced, TV content coming to Xbox 360, Gran Turismo Spec 2.0 details, Gears of War 3 and Duke Nukem DLC and Battlefield 3 may still be coming to Steam.

Soundtrack of our gaming lives

This week: Oligon shares a wonderful personal story & selects a medley of music from Dark Age Of Camelot.

In addition you get the usual suspects; Retail Roundup, New Releases, DLC and the return of the Sexy Quiz.

Wow, the DAOC bit took my breath away for a while there. A game that holds a place in my heart also. In 2002 it was my first MMO, it blew me away and totally immersed me, the couple of years I spent playing were very precious times. I must have shared a server with you Oligon at some stage. I played a wizard called Pascalean on the Excalibur server. Guild was the Dead Dragons Society.
