Brink is realeased today in the US and at the end of the week in the UK on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and the final three Get SMART videos have gone live, showing you what you can expect from Splash Damage’s and Bethesda’s new shooter.
Although the Get SMART series is now over, don’t expect it to be the last video series we see about Brink. Today sees the launch of Brink TV, a deadicated internet television channel focusing on the titles and delivering content that will apparently “appeal to both casual and hardcore FPS gamers” include showcases of the best teams, games and leagues from within the Brink community, as well as incisive commentary and analysis features.
The channel kicks things off with an introduction to the Brink TV staff, followed by a roundtable focusing on Brink’s competitive gaming features with a group of seasoned players from previous Splash Damage games such as the Quake and Castle Wolfenstein Enemy Territory titles. Finishing off the evening, there will be prize giveaways of PC copies of the game, and a hosted series of King of the Hill matches open to all players.
Splash Damage know their way around competitive multiplayer and with video support to back it up Brink is looking like a strong contender for the next competitive FPS competition title.
