You can feature in an upcoming Catherine trailer

April 12th, 2011 by

Atlus today offered fans the chance to be a part of a future trailer for Catherine, the upcoming action-adventure/puzzle game from the makers of Persona, for PS3 and Xbox 360. In a video released today on YouTube, the publisher asked gamers to post direct video responses answering three personal, heavy questions about commitment.  Atlus will then select answers from those submitted to appear in an official trailer.

Catherine offers an unprecedented exploration of the psychology and emotion of relationships and commitment,” said Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales at Atlus. “A lot has been made of the game’s salacious content and of the nightmarish action-puzzle-platforming that ties the narrative scenes together, perhaps slightly overshadowing the game’s daring subject matter.  By allowing fans to share their opinions about such poignant, relatable subjects, we believe it will shine more light on some of the heavy ideas Catherine brings to the table.”

Atlus will require video direct responses to be 720p or better.  Video responses will be accepted for consideration until 5:00 PM PDT on April 22, 2011.  A comprehensive list of rules, including the promotion’s deadline, are available in the description of the YouTube video here.

Catherine is currently scheduled forrelease in Summer 2011.
