WWE All Stars Features The Macho Man

February 13th, 2011 by

There are but a few things I hold true in this vast and bewildering world. First, delicious hot buttered toast always lands face down when knocked off a table, guaranteeing a ruined breakfast. Second, whenever you plan a trip to the beach in Britain, it will – without fail – rain for the entirety of the weekend. Third, this man is the greatest wrestler of all time…

It’s been so long since wrestling fans have had the chance to play as Macho Man Randy Savage, the wrestler who bought a distinct brand of insanity to the then WWF. So imagine my surprise when this dropped in my inbox the other day…

Though the WWE All Stars line-up is really completed with the inclusion of just Mr. Savage, there are some other wrestlers to choose from, should you temporarily go insane. Combining the biggest names in wrestling entertainment from across two generations, Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, The Rock, The Ultimate Warrior, Ray Mysterio and many more join the Macho Man to compete for second place. From what we’ve seen so far, the game looks to be a departure from the play style of the yearly SmackDown titles – with a more exaggerated presentation and set of physics – think what SSX was to Cool Boarders and you’re about there. Seeing release on PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and 360, check out the ‘Runnin Wild’ trailer now for an idea of what to expect when the game ships on March 29th.

Depends where you’re from. I’d pronounce it AWWWW YEEEAAHHH! but I believe OOOOOHHHH YEEEAAAHHH is correct also. Regardless, I believe we can agree that he is awesome.
