Excellent podcast this week guys. For me it was one of those episodes that I’ll have to listen to again because I was laughing so much I missed bits.

Thanks for ‘Stones’ Matt it made me all melancholy.

What the hell, Daren? The girl you’re thinking of from Zombieland is Emma Stone, she hasn’t been in much else yet. She doesn’t play Meg in Family guy, that’s Mila Kunis. GOSH!

  3. avatar Cudmoro says:

Emma Stone is also in Easy A – a GOOD teen comedy, and House Bunny too, which is daft but laugh out loud in places, and a tad boneriffic.

    Great podcast as ever.

I was listening to the opening section about what the guys have been playing and I remembered the new feature ‘Soundtrack of our lives’.

I think my telepathy must be working because I thought to myself ‘the only game soundtrack music that I actually like is Stones from Ultima. I’d really like to hear that again’.

Lo and behold Matt played it. Not only that but I also taught my character in Lotro to play Stones on the lute which Matt also mentioned.

Mayve I should do the lottery for once this week.

  5. avatar Mantits says:

She’s also in the New Spiderman movie

    Great podcast as usual.

I recently started FF13 again after repurchasing, thought I’d give it a second chance. And after the first 5hr slog it really starts to open up; the game keeps adding layers of depth to the battle system and the story really picks up. I’m 8 1/2 hrs in now and, apart from the odd frustrating battle, I’m really enjoying it. I’ve read that it keep getting better the more hrs you put in. I’m really glad I gave it a second chance because it such a beautiful game and I find the characters interesting.

Just thought I’d offer my thoughts up in the hope that Daren gives it a good chance because it definatley improves. And as soon as I’m done with that I’m going to give Nier a go, I’m really intrigued about it after listening to what Daren had to say about. Keep up the good work guys.

  7. @All – Thanks for the love

@AG – I’m actually having trouble thinking what else I can use that’s to that sort of standard. I’m sure something will come to mind

@MrsFish – I’m hoping Daren can get through it as well as I love hearing from people who’ve been through it, it just sounds amazing. We’re going to have to wait until he’s been through Nier another few times though I think :)
