Weekend Gaming 19/11/2010

November 19th, 2010 by

The weekend is almost here!

Break out your special gaming pants and let’s get to work – what are you playing this weekend?

Its still a big weekend for new games, even after last weeks mammoth one. Would-be assassins across the world will be rebuilding Rome with Ubisoft’s Assassins Creed: Brotherhood.

EA and Criterion bring you the newly refreshed Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. With record breaking demo downloads, will you be taking to the streets or busting fellow racers?

Harry Potter fans who can’t get enough of that world are also going to be delving deeper with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Get your wand action on with the 3rd person cover based shooter version of the young wizard.

But we here know that its not all about whats new. Bizzard have kicked off another 7 days free re-activation for World of Warcraft accounts as we get closer and closer to the release of Catacysm, so will anyone be getting their grind on?

Let us know in the comments what your plans are and please remember – no spoilers!

  6. Most definitely some RB3 with the little ‘un & damn that Bee Gees DLC is getting played because it is so good!
Also I’ve got some Deadly Premonition time put aside and maybe a little ACB, which I picked up today.
Hear all about my fun/terrible times on the next show.

I just received a dispatch email from play.com for GT5.
If the gods are smiling upon me, I may have it for Saturday.

Otherwise I might knock about a bit on the minecraft server, get past the first 5 hours of Dragon Age: Origins or maybe, just maybe play City of Heroes.

visting the mother-in-law, doing some work :-(, hopefully fit in some Rockband 3 plus a wee practice on my guitar – thanks to RB3 I have decided to learn how to play properly but we don’t have to pro-kit over here in NZ so I’ve gone old skool and the good lady brought me a proper guitar.

Little late to this one but i picked up the Kinect on Friday with Dance Central……This game is fantastic and i;ve been busting a move all weekend. Seen a couple of the people on my friends list with a few high scores so im on a mission to beat them.
Also picked up AC:B as im looking foward to that after the rave reviews its been getting.
Busy times ahead for me :D
