Trailer-Gasm! 10

July 18th, 2010 by

Kicking off the proceedings this week is a trailer which I decided to include without having seen the trailer itself, I included it purely based on its title, luckily for me its a great trailer too, making its way to XBLA and PSN from ‘the creator of the funniest Pirate… Island… Monkey… Game’, its the fantastically titled DeathSpank.

Next up we have a comic book game being released shortly before its Hollywood Movie counterpart, but before you run screaming fearing another Hulk-style mess of a game, taking inspiration from retro titles such as Streets of Rage, out in August its Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game.

Up next we have proof that whilst the big hitters of the Nintendo consoles may well be the Mario and Donkey Kong stalwarts, Nintendo can still develop their new franchises which is definitely the case with this 5th Installment in the Rayman spin-off, its Raving Rabbids: Lost in Time.

Now lets bring the tone down to a more serious ‘hardcore gamer’ level, its the next on the ever-spinning conveyor belt of Tom Clancy titles, coming to the shelves by the end of the year its H.A.W.X 2. Here at Trailer-Gasm1 its not just about the consoles and not just about the big blockbuster games, we like to see smaller independent titles making an impact of their own, and with that I bring you the upcoming PC title Divine Souls.

As we draw this episode to a close there is one last game to look at and one title left unaddressed, although that could be because it was only announced a few weeks ago, one of the first trailers for a Nintendo 3DS game, its Resident Evil: Revelations.

And that’s it once again, next week we look at some of the top racing trailers doing the rounds so look out for that. Don’t forget to leave your comments and diggs because if you don’t then how are people going to find out about the best Gasm you can get without taking your clothes off! See you next week!
