Blizzard Begin Beta Testing Latest WOW Expansion

July 2nd, 2010 by

If you’ve had a good long stint of days pencilled it at work and you’re a fan of Blizzard‘s super MMO World of Warcraft, then beware, because the latest expansion – Cataclysm – has now begun rolling out its closed beta test that will look to provide valuable feedback to Blizzard- findings bugs, refining balance issues, and make sure each bit of content is polished to a high standard.

You may want a day or two booked off work for its launch to delve into the world furthermore, as this – the third expansion for WOW since its launch, after the hugely successful The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King - will alter the world in new-found ways after the devastating return of the ‘Dragon Aspect Deathwing’. A new level cap will greet fans (boosted to level 85), as well as the ability to suit up as either of the two new races (Worgen and Goblins) to fight their way in the new adventure.

For more information on World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, visit the official website at www.worldofwarcraft.com/cataclysm.

I’m in the closed Beta. So far it’s awesome! Worgen and Goblin starting areas are totally different to anything the other races have. I may even start blogging about beta.
