I must begin this episode with a preemptive apology, due to the trailers released this week, through no fault of my own this week’s episode has become unashamedly ‘manly’ and so to anyone of a female persuasion who may not enjoy the more testosterone-driven side of gaming, I offer my sincerest apologies and I’ll try and make it up to you next week.
Well now that’s done with, lets get on with our brand new ‘manly’ Trailer-Gasm!…
Giving this episode its jump start this week is the brand new teaser trailer for Red Faction: Armageddeon. This title due for release in March 2011 was discussed in this weeks podcast and seems to be moving into a more survival horror genre, an interesting move which by the looks of the trailer they may well pull off. Our next title also includes monsters and creatures from the underworld, however these monsters aren’t looking to devour your face, they just want to turn you into the gaming version of Jimi Hendrix, its Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock!
Up next is an extended trailer which was also discussed on this weeks podcast, due for release 8 years after its predecessor and set around 20 years before the 2000 original, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is due for release on 360, PC and PS3 in early 2011.
Next up we have a DC Comics double-hander, first up is a brand new game exclusive to Nintendo and based on the Cartoon Network series Batman: The Brave and The Bold, and if thats not enough for you we have the latest developer diary discussing one of the superspeed features in DC Universe Online.
And rounding up this weeks episode is another trailer discussed on this weeks podcast (I’m concerned that they have been sneaking a look at my trailer list!) is the PS3 exclusive KILLZONE 3.
All that’s all there is for this week, now you been exposed to enough testosterone-fueled games to set you up for the week, Trailer-Gasm! will be back next week for more of the latest trailers so for now, leave your comments, diggs and let other people know about your Trailer-Gasm!
