Trailer-Gasm! 8

May 29th, 2010 by

If you, like me, have found yourself searching for something to replace Lost in your life this week then Trailer-Gasm! is here to fill that smoke monster shaped space in your heart, if you don’t watch Lost then by gum there is a bumper packed Trailer-Gasm! just waiting for your eyes  and ears to enjoy…

This week we have a grand total of 6 trailers to entertain, invigorate and arouse (?!) your senses, first up is a trailer for the latest title from the folks who brought you Heavenly Sword and is written by the writer behind the 2002 post-apocalyptic movie 28 Days Later, its Ninja Theory with Enslaved.

Now after the Lost themed introduction the next trailer I promise is completely coincidental it just so happens that the upcoming title Singularity is set around someone who crashes on a mysterious island which is hopping through time from the 1950’s to modern day and the aim of the game is to find the co-pilot and get off the island, told you Trailer-Gasm! could fill that hole!

Following this is the sequel to the 2007 psychological thriller The Darkness Within, The Darkness Within: The Dark Lineage; this first person thriller is due out this week.

A few months ago retro gamers around the world rejoiced as one of their favourite gaming characters was announced to be making a huge leap forward by going back to 2D, here is a further look at some of the gameplay from Sonic 4: Episode I.

And finally this week, if you aren’t quite satisfied by the realism of Skate 3, the *ahem* innovation of Tony Hawks Ride then maybe this may be your cup of tea, Shaun White sticks some wheels on his board and hits the streets with Shaun White’s Skateboarding, this new title promises the ability to design and create your skate park as you skate, can’t get down that ledge? Then create a rail to grind down! Can’t reach a platform? Then create a ramp to get you some air!

And once again that’s all we have time for; we’ll be back this week with another special edition of Trailer-Gasm! and we’ll be back soon with another jam-packed episode of Trailer-Gasm!

So… “Enslaved” is a sci-fi version of “Journey to the West”, as written by Alex Garland and starring Andy Serkis?

Mind = Totally fucking blown. 0.o
