Podcast Episode 85 – Oh Tiger!

March 22nd, 2010 by

Bloomin’ heck! It’s been a busy week for the hosts, with some quality gaming and Matt even goes out shopping, which is a rare event in itself. Daren further proves the theory that blending alcohol and Rock Band makes for dodgy purchases.

What have we been playing?

Matt sinks his teeth into God of War 3, not before spending more time than expected with Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce. He revisits PlayStation Home and completes Heavy Rain.

There is a special spoiler-filled fireside chat about Heavy Rain at the very end of the show.

Daren is late to the party, discovering Monster Hunter Freedom 2 on the PSP. He continues with Yakuza 3, dabbles with Perfect Dark and pops his Sam Fisher cherry with the Splinter Cell: Conviction Demo on Xbox 360.

This weeks news topics

The Video Game BAFTA winners are detailed, Gears of War 3 and Killzone 3 set to battle it out in 2011, Modern Warfare 2 double XP weekend confirmed, Free DLC for MAG and Codemasters talk smack about the PSP. Xbox 360′s Game Room brings plenty of achievements and rumours of a Spring dashboard update with USB storage support.

The usual suspects: Retail Roundup, New Releases, DLC,  the Twitter Section and a sexy and somewhat topical quiz.
