Ep 98: Wave 'em up

posts 7

Hi to anyone who has taken the time to reads this. My name is Ian.

OK, a little about me.

I have been a gamer my whole life, from the ZX81 and spectrum ye olde rubber keyboard to the Xbox one and 360 with all of the regular systems of each generation in between. Amiga,  SNES, Megadrive, PS1, PS2, Xbox etc.

Of recent years I have been into consoles rather than the PC, I need the instant gratification of having games just work when you put the disc in rather than have to D!*k about with my system! Notable exceptions are the Total war games, and the excellent World of Tanks that I only just started playing in the last couple of days after listening to the podcast, thanks for giving me another excuse to spend hours and hours on a game to realise that I am in fact a little bit crap. Good game though.

I only have Forza 5 on the Xbox one at the mo but if anyone fancies having a race then friend me on xbox live, PenguinMafiaDon is my username just about everywhere online.

OK enough for now, hope to see you all in a gaming universe near you soon.

The Don.

Hi Ian.

I've just started on World of Tanks as well.  Really enjoying it.  Had a great online session with the chaps last Friday evening and gained a lot of useful information from them.  Hopefully see you on the battlefield! wink

My gamertag is , PenguinMafiaDon.

Steam is the same.

WOT I am registered as b3ard0s due to a screw up during registration.

More importantly, the biscuit is clearly the most awesome custard cream dunked in a cup of tea.

Beverage is the same cup of tea, or a single malt on Friday night.

Hello there mate,

Be sure to sign onto WOT on a Friday evening. That's our most social get together night. Last week we had so many players we had to start figuring out how to do tank company battles. We were all quite outmatched by the pro gamers but it was still a load of fun.

Also, sign onto the Wewannaplay for coordinating games.
