Firstly, hi and Happy New Year!
I'm Nazkerban A.K.A Naz or if you really get to know me, Gareth. I'm a child of the 80's, what I class as a casual (even more so these days) gamer and lover of cheese and Sci-Fi. This is sometimes the same thing of late!
I've been pretty late to the podcast scene, but last year a certain radio 1 DJ left and a gap in my commuting time to work formed. I started listen to certain Monkey related show and soon picked up on others through suggestions at first and then delving into the iTunes charts. The name Midlife Gamer jumped out at me as it had been a suggestion of my friend Gillyman and off the iTunes charts. I can't say I've heard as many of the shows as I would of liked, mainly due to my limited 30 minutes of travelling, but as I've started to be selective with my shows I make sure I get in my MLG dose over a few days
I also feel I've missed out on things like Eurogamer, so I made sure I came to the 2013 show and was lucky to have Gilly sign me up as well to the MLGX party. That night was immense and much fun to be had, and even though I had to help my friend Dave (another last minute addition to the guest list) drag a DJ hero 2 through the streets of London…. I can quite honestly say that the MLG community made that night really something quite special!
Anyway, gaming wise I'm on the XBox One, Vita and I'm a Mac own, but as I'm updating it I'll probably start hoping onto Steam more… maybe even WOT via bootcamp. I used to play WOW for 7 years, but I finally kicked that habit in exchange for console gaming and stuff like BF3. If you do have a XB1, feel free to add me for BF4 as thats my go to game when I have the time!
I'm pleased I've finally got round to hopping on here (I'm more tapatalk) and I hope to see you folks around!
