Completed:

Brothers, excellent game and totally agree with Adamski, 9/10.

Thomas was alone 8/10, great music and narrative.

Rocketbird: If Rambo was a chicken he'd be Rocketbird music is excellent 8/10.

Just watching the credits for GTA V.

Very enjoyable from start to finish. I've saved the 'assassination' missions as advised…not sure what to do with all the cash! (shame you can't carry it over to MP).

The environments (including the radio stations) are staggering. This title is sure to have some great DLC in the future for the online aspect to,take advantage of the varied areas.
Rockstar have created a benchmark title. Bravo.

Saved the assasination missions? Without spoilers, what do you mean? I haven't gotten to these yet, but what is the reason for not doing them?

I have just Finished the new Tomb Raider and I thought it was great. Hopfully they will do another one with Rianna Pratchet or get another strong writer. Hopefully if they do another one they will need to adjust the sales projections. Since they have a good looking engine the next one shouldn't cost as much to make.

But i'm not sure if i should play ni no kuni or dragon age origins next

Tough decision I would recommend Ni No Kuni first.

@Egg Daddy
No Spoilers….
One of the characters will be given some side missions. Assassination missions.
You can use these to make lots of money if you (and the others) invest in the right stocks before the assassination.
The first one is 'story' related, but wait until the end of the main story to attempt the other assassination missions.

You don't have to wait until the end of the story, but it could net you millions and millions of dollars if you invest in the right stock.

Great if you fancy maximising your "dicking about" money once you're clear of the main story. Shame you can't take it into the MP.

Once you find out about the assassination missions and want to know which stocks to invest in, head to "The Trade Detectives" website (friends of Midlife Gamer) here:

Lollipop Chainsaw "I came, I saw, I Kicked It's Ass" trophy acquired

It was a just my cup of tea. An arcade style button masher, filled with humour, great music and sadly a little sexist (see my trophy for trying to look up her skirt) Glad that I put it back in my ps3 before I put it on eBay as there's no chance I'm selling it now….now just got to "wear my vagina on my sleeve" and get that platinum trophy

I've just completed The Walking Dead (Telltales Version) Season 1 on Vita (2nd Platinum too) and 400 days, had it sitting on my memory card since it was released, so thought it was time to see it through to the end, great game, no idea why I left it so long to finish off, now I need to finish it on PS3 too to get another Platinum and the start Season 2, which I have sitting on my HDD ready to play.

Just completed the first installment of The Wolf Among Us, this (for those that don't know) is from TellTale Games set in the World of Fables (FableTown) it is played the same way as The Walking Dead. It's taken me a long time to get around to getting this completed but so glad I did, Now after the end of Episode 1 I can not wait for Episode 2.

For anyone that has not took a look at this, What's the matter with you!!!

I am also hoping to add Bully SE to this post very soon, the main game was completed a long time ago and I am now trying to 100% the game (it's getting very tedious now) but determined to get it done lol

Seems to be a Tell Tale session going around…I've just finished the Walking Dead 400 Days too. Only a couple of hours and some great 'uncomfortable' moments. A good filler till I start Season 2.

And now I've just started playing The Wolf Among Us….very stylish.

I finished Far Cry 3, I did not enjoy the 1st and 2nd so I didn't hold out much hope for the 3rd but Playstation Plus were rocking it so I gave it a try.

Absolutely loved the game, really enjoyed every aspect for the game and hunting (Humans and Animals) was great.

Loved it so much that I then brought Blood Dragon and really enjoyed that to, the Dragon Aspect and humour was enough to keep me in but the ending was quite weak.

Then moved onto Brothers, what can I say about Brothers? Great game, a bugger to control and I had massive problems with direction but great game. Shame the puzzles were not that hard.

On to Bioshock infinite now…….

Just finished South Park: Stick of Truth. It's very RPG-Lite at about 12-13 hours long.

However the turn based mechanics and combat are a lot of fun and as a fan of the cartoon it is an impeccable homage to the show. Everything looks, sounds and feels like you are playing one of the episodes from the show.

Fecking hilarious game for fans of the show.

5/5

For the easily offended and non fans it's probably not for you.

I've just completed Broken Age (act 1), so I haven't really completed it because there is act 2 to come, but I have completed Act 1 – does that count?

So my verdict – it's a good story, beautiful art work and a great soundtrack BUT it is a very short game and I completed it in about 5 hours, if you're any good you can probably do it in 3. It shows it's heritage on numerous occasions ( definitely a grim fandango vibe at some points), and if you buy part 1 you get part 2 free.

I would give it 3 1/2 stars.

I've just completed Brothers – A tale of two sons. It was good but very short – an 8/10. Played it through as a story then went back to collect all the trophies.

I liked the art work, but control system was a bit of a pain at times. Story was good – quite moving at times. But 'to the moon' still gets the moving story award – heresy ( I preferred it to the walking dead).

Completed lost odyssey after stopping before the last section over a year ago as I was too low level and could not be bothered to level up etc. Love the game though 9/10.

Also finished uncharted 2 which was good fun apart from the last boss battle which did get somewhat annoying 9/10 and

Ni No Kuni which is bloody amazing absolutely love it 10/10.

Must play brothers soon, though thx to ps+ humble and steam have a huuuge pile of shame now frown

Oh also finished to the moon a little while ago definably agree its a fantastic story (and game) thats better than walking dead.

I must finish this. Me and my boy played as a brother each sharing one controller – tricky but fun! We are right near the end I think.

Finished – GTA V.

The only GTA game I have every completed. Ploughed over 96 hours into this with the wife, thought it was by far the best GTA title yet, loved it all the way through. 10/10

Finished – Spec Ops – The Line.

Fairly standard cover based shooter, but great fun, very gory and with a cool high key art style. However the mental state of your character is the interestng thing, and had me googling theories after I finished it. 8/10

Spec Ops – what a game! Standard shooter, yes, but I thoroughly enjoyed the 'story'.
Did you got back and play all of the alternative endings?
