There's a familiar name, how you doing ? Is this a PS4 exclusive ? Hopefully will be picking up a PS3 this month so it might just tide me over while i save for my PS4.

Hello mate smile The game has been out on pc for quite a while I believe, no idea if it's going to be released on the xbone though. I'm hoping for a release on the vita so I can feed my addiction on the move smile

Would love to see it transfer to Vita, it seems to be perfect for the handheld using Remote Play.

Totally hooked on this game, which is why I got it again on PS4. They've implemented the transfer from KBM to controller really well, everything seems natural.

Got myself up to 14 days so far, and got my first week nailed now, but those damn hounds always seem to come when my armour has either a) just been destroyed or b) is sitting at <10% due to fighting pig men and spiders.

Yet I keep coming back for more.

I've only briefly seen screenshots of it. What's it really like? Is it a platformer or does it have more of a resource management element to it?

Have a look on twitch our something, I'm sure there will be streams on there. It's not a platform game, so resource management, and totally random is the best description I can give it. It's free for psn+ so try it smile

I'm totally hooked on this too. Played it as part of the PS+ but really struggled with the controls using the triggers for the menus), so picked it up on the PC last weekend and it's a totally different experience.

The premise of the game is simple, you have a health, a hunger and a sanity meter, and you need to keep them topped up. Similar to Minecraft, when it gets dark, light the place up, otherwise you die.

The game however can and does get very deep, the day/night cycle gradually changes with season, meaning longer night, and shorter days meaning a lot less exploring, and also when it starts getting cold, you can't go too far from a fire.

In a similar vein to Minecraft, the game is all about surviving, you essentially, collect stuff, to make stuff, to upgrade stuff, to make better stuff, to survive. The one massive difference is the instadeath. You could potentially spend a good couple of real world days playing a map, only to make a rookie mistake and die.

Furthest I've got so far is day 15, but looking on YouTube, the norm for a familiar player is 100 days plus. I have put my 15 days up on YouTube if you want a link?

This is a great game, I picked it up on steam a while back but you can also get it through Chrome Apps.

I'm holding out for the vita version which is quickly becoming my major platform so I can play it on the way to work.

In steam it supports modding and there are couple of nice mods out there at the moment. The screatcher being one of them adding slender like components to scare the bejesus out of you. If you can get that on the PS4 try that out its a great adaptation of an already great game

Its made by Klei entertainment the same people behind Mark of the Ninja and shank which are both great games.

My current flavour of the month is Rust which sort of reminds me of Don't starve mixed with DayZ / Minecraft

I see 'Rust' contains "caveman themed nudity"… I'm in!

Loving it picked it up on PSN+. It’s a bit tricky at first as there is no hand holding but I’ve got into a bit swing with it at the moment I’ve manage to last 21 Days until Winter and I inevitably starved due to lack of resources to eat.

But I have a plan I think an Ice Box is the solution I’ve found one whist Spelunking so I’m going to go back with a Hammer and see if I can get the missing component I don’t have the cog.

I’ve dabbled with a couple of the other characters currently running with Willow see how far I get with her.
