  1. Thanks for this Oli – so how was sit running on the OR?

  2. avatar Oli-1977 says:

The Oculus Rift and War Thunder are a match made in haven.
It does replicte the “cockpit” with whatever chair you sit in.
Once You have the goggles on the immersion it complete.

In my case I did put the OR on and suddenly was sitting in a plane.
Looking to the left over the left wing.
In my naivity I tryed to change to view with the right stick to face up front to the controls,
but nothing happend. Then I realised all I had to to was turn im my seat to face into the right direction.
You´ve got full 360 degrees view in the OR and it tracks your head movement 1 to 1.
And then I took the plane out for a fly. What an amazing feeling. The 3D feels totally natural.
Once I flew between two mountains then flipping my plane to the side so I could look down over
my wings into the water. And the water is not just a flat surface. It it transperant and you could see
    the ground below. Totally stunning.
There was no hud needed, all the controls in the cockpit were cristal clear to be seen.
I am gonna get one Day One. I am sold ^^

Yeah that´s my review of the Oculus Rift with War Thunder.
