Introducing The Midlife Gamer Comic Club

July 1st, 2012 by

After an interesting forum post about people’s comic book reading habits, an idea was formed by originaljohn then implemented by Games247. Welcome to the Midlife Gamer Comic Club.

The idea is simple: we set a comic to read (a single comic per month) and discuss it in a deadicated forum thread and possible on a Skype call.

It’s a great way to finally read those comic books you never got round to, or re-visit your very favourite ones.

Click here to head on over to the forum and join in on the discussion. Also look out for the #mlgcomicclub Twitter hashtag.

The first comic is Batman: The Killing Joke.

Yay! A great idea and loving the fact that this website is now catering for two of my passions! Look forward to reading the first choice (it’s winging its way towards me as I type) and sharing views and opinions with the community over the next couple of weeks.
So, until the Government bans all games, comics and retro wonderfulness…
    Make Mine MLG!

  2. Ordered my copy today. This is gonna be great… well done Originaljohn and Games247.
