Midlife Gamer Video Showcase: Kerbal Space Program(KSP)

August 8th, 2011 by

Kerbal Space Program(KSP) allows you to create and manage your own space program.

Currently under development by indie developer, Squad. KSP is currently in Alpha, and free to download and play. And I cannot recommend it enough. It’s addictive, original and easy to play mechanics kept me coming back to it over and over again. In fact I’m confident KSP will be as popular as Minecraft someday.

It’s an ace game and is currently only a shadow of what the developers have in store for us. Enjoy the video showcase below and head over to their official site to pick it up for free. It’s great.

Check out the video editing on Greg, woo!
Nice one matey, how many takes did it take you?
    Chhers for the vid.

    Thanks Antman :)

Three takes. On the first I was thinking “Okay, I’ve watched Antman’s videos, I can do this.” And I messed up the talking bit.

Second I thought “right, keep talking but make it interesting.” And I messed up the talking and the playing the game bits.

Third time I though “screw it! just play and talk and see what happens” Success!

Thanks for the heads up on this Greg, enjoyed the video, had a fun hour with the game… but my 6 year old little girl is now absolutely hooked.

Nice to get her playing something that needs a bit of thought instead of 3DS Monkey ball :D
